a warrior of your people

I doubt that it will surprise anyone when I say the idea of servant leadership is pretty much what Crew 1st Culture was based on. Taking care of others, putting others first, and being a servant to those you lead has always been the type of leader that I wanted to be. That became very clear while working for servant leaders myself, we would do anything for them.

I think sometimes people twist the term around to make it sound soft or spineless but that’s about as far from the truth as it could be. Becoming a leader has required more courage and strength for me than I would’ve ever guessed.

So called leaders that put themselves before their crew might just turn around one day to find that no one is following them anymore.

Stand up for your people, care for your people, and look for ways to serve them.
